Mills Launches New Web Site and Print Catalog

Mills Machine Company has just launched their new Website. In addition, the entire Mills Machine Co. Catalog is now available for download.

This project allows Mills Machine Co. to generate their Website and printed catalog from a single database. With this in place, updates to the Web site are passed to the printed catalog simultaneously. Mills Machine Co. Customers will now have access to updated information not only online, but also in print.

The services of DOGJET Software were contracted for the project. Project Manager Tanner Johnson said their webbEprint software package is being used to manage the Mills Machine Catalog. "In visiting with Chuck and his team, it became clear that our first priority was to update the Mills Machine Company Print Catalog. This is the perfect application for our product, we were able to use webbEprint to create a .pdf catalog that is available for download from their Website."

"The real power of our product", says Johnson, "is its ability to format content for Web, Email and Print, hence the name. We have plans to expand the Website to include a newsletter of featured products generated from the same set of content."

Jeff Anglim, Mills Machine Company Sales Manager, believes one of the biggest benefits of the new system is making product information more accessible to his customers. "Having the catalog available online is huge.  This gives customers the ability to download the catalog at their fingertips, section by section. The information is also set up in a format that is easier to maneuver through."

"We are currently working on adding online forms that will allow customers to submit custom orders over the Website", says sales representative John Harris. "Accurately capturing the initial specs on a custom product is always a challenge. Using our Website as a starting point should allow us to meet our clients needs quicker and more efficiently". John also stated he is looking forward to the ability to begin offering products for sale using online ordering.

Mills Machine Company President Chuck Mills stated that he is also excited about the new opportunities the site and catalog has to offer, and is anxious for his long time customers to get their hands on it.
